Today was an amazing day! Ed, Becky & I met on deck 6 forward very early this morning for our wonderful and very scenic sail into Dubai. It was their first time to visit the United Arab Emirates. We headed off the ship around 8:00 to explore some of the Emirates… Ed & Becky had arranged for a car, driver & guide to lead us on our adventure. Our guide was Gihan de Silva from Sri Lanka and our driver Bahroz Khan from Pakistan…. Both were excellent! If anyone wants to tour Dubai, our the other Emirates, contact Gihan at gpdesilva@gmail.com. Anyway we spent the day leaving Dubai and exploring Shajah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain and Ras Al-Khaimah. It was a great day exploring the U.A.E. Tomorrow we will go back out together and adding Robert & Bronwyn to our band of intrepid travelers….
