Planning the next adventure.....

As you can imagine, I have been enjoying my time at home after my 7 month megavoyage. It has been a great summer so far.... lots more to come. I am working on the next adventure coming up in September. I will be taking the Asia, Australia & Polynesia Explorer Grand Voyage out of Seattle on 19 September 2008. Here is an overview of the upcoming ports of call: Seattle, Washington; Cross International Dateline; Petropavlovsk, Russia; Hakodate, Japan; Miyako, Japan; Kobe/Osaka, Japan; Shanghai, China; Hong Kong, China; Da Nang, Vietnam; Phu My, Vietnam; Bangkok, Thailand; Koh Samui, Thailand; Singapore; Crossing the Equator; Padang Bai, Bali, Indonesia; Perth (Fremantle), Australia; Melbourne, Australia; Sydney, Australia; Noumea, New Caledonia; Suva, Fiji; Apia, Western Samoa; Honolulu, Oahu, United States; Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii and San Diego, California. This voyage will, once again, be on the ms Amsterdam with Captain Edward G. van Zaane and his wonderful wife Apollonia. It should be an amazing adventure......

Holly send me a reminder as well OK...

Just to clarify...
Being it's summer up here and temps are wonderful I think Whitey would be lie. (Right Jeff).
But I will keep it for Jeff.

I make it clear to everyone that ,even though I gave John B. the nickname "Whitey", he is a true tanning professional. The name comes from the fact that he spends most of the winter in the great white north of Canada and thus..... Whitey!

I would be most interested in the passage along the Aleutian Islands....I have been as far west as Dutch Harbor and would like to know sea conditions approaching Russia.

Dennis,
You can see that now if you like. Just look at the blog from last September when I crossed the Bering Sea.

Jeff, It is always good to hear about your travels. I am so glad you take the time to do this for us all. Gloria and I are taking a 51 cruise with Carol and Fred starting Jan 31, 2009. Around South America on the the Carnival Spendor. Any suggestion of things we should not miss?

Well I am heading to South Padre Island for a few days - just in time for wind and rain and who knows what else. I could post some pics if we survive the wrath of Dolly.

JEFF! Our Silicon Valley cubicle world has been bleek and miserable without your daily pictures and adventures! Glad to see you're gearing up for another voyage! We're sailing again in November on the Volendam! Might even blog it -- you've inspired us! Looking forward to reading about your new adventure!

Cheers,
