Day 167 At Sea

Today was the first of 4 days at sea on the way to the Maldives. It was a beautiful, hot & sunny day. There was a nice breeze to keep the heat under control. Just a little note about the blog…. As many of you may have noticed in the last 2 -3 weeks, the blog started only showing the last post and not 20-25 as I had it set up. Blogger has made a change which limits how many posts are shown on the front page because of size, number of photos, etc. to speed up the loading of the page. That means that you may miss some posts unless you go back and look at older posts. That could happen if you miss a day or in the rare cases where I leave the ship for a few days and do 3 or 4 posts when I return. In the latter case you would only see the last post on the front page. To get around that (if you are interested) you have to click on “older posts” at the bottom or look for the post in the archive section on the right hand side of the page. I am deeply disappointed in blogger for making this change. If I can find a solution I will try and fix it in the future.

Is it to early to ask what is next up after this trip?

Again, thanks Jeff for this wonderful BLOG adventure. I just love seeing all the places and things you photograph. What happened to the itinerary? You appear to ve missing the Seychelles? I am interested in that part of the world as my grandmother was born there in 1885 Her British parents had a plantation on the main island outside Victoria. I sure wish I was sitting on deck with you in the sun although we do have flowers here in the balmy Olympic city of Vancouver!!!!!

Happy Sailing Nora in Vancouver.

The Seychelles were cancelled because of pirates and the Maldives added as a replacement port. As for the 3 posts currently showing.... that is because the last 2 had no photos. AS soon as back to back ports with photos come along it will be back to 1.
