Today was a great day.... I had a really wonderful visit with Holland America. Thanks to Stein Kruse and his team for a nice visit. I had some good discussions with some of the staff regarding Holland America and relating some of my experiences. I really want to thank Jo Ann Taylor, the Mariner Program Manager , for a magnificent day. I had lunch with her and Beth & Mookie from the Sales staff. Lunch was great and what a wonderful view of Mt Rainer..... After I left HAL for the day I grabbed my camera and started hiking up the hill to Kerry Park....what a climb!!! The view was fantastic! I then walked to the Space Needle. Even though I had been up there before, I decided the view was worthy of another trip. The weather today was really nice and the views were not too shabby.... As I was walking back I couldn't help but notice the sign proclaiming that King County has over 14 Million tons of carbon emissions year to date. No wonder I was having difficulty breathing as I climbed up to Kerry Park, and I thought I was just out of shape. The next photo I took was of a big blow up skull.....just a coincidence? Anyway, thanks to all for a great day and I look forward to boarding the ms Amsterdam

I am so glad you enjoyed your visit in Seattle and that is was a beautiful. I tried to work up a nice day today for your sail away...but no luck for morning..it should clear off nicely by sail away time however. How's THAT for service??
Hi Jeff:
Thanks for the Space Needle shot and the view from the top. It's one of my favorite city landmarks. You are getting a fantastic start for this cruise.
Totally enjoy yourself!
