Final preparations....

Well the time has finally come.... Here I am, at home, making final preparations for my voyage. FedEx picked up my shipment Monday as scheduled and tonight I finished packing the bags that I'll take with me tomorrow on my flight to Seattle. I have a flight that doesn't leave until 3:50 tomorrow afternoon, through Charlotte, going to Seattle. I arrive into Seattle tomorrow night at 8:49 which is close to midnight for the East Coast. I'll head to the hotel, check email and get a good nights sleep. The next morning at some point I will go over to the Holland America headquarters for a visit and lunch with a few folks. Once I am on the ship I will get excited, until then I will be pretty low key. I hate flying across the U.S! The flight is too long for my taste.... I'll chat with you all from Seattle.....

Welcome to West Coast time. Looks like you should have a nice couple of days in Seattle. Enjoy your day at HAL Headquarters. I too noticed that medals are back, so keep those days coming. I'll keep my fingers crossed that Alaska will not be rainy for you. I look forward to your new posting of PICs
