I had a nice visit to Luderitz… It’s a pretty small but charming little town. Even though I was feeling pretty bad, I went ashore and enjoyed the town for a few hours. The other big happening is that Stein Kruse and some staff members got onboard in Walvis Bay. A big Mariner Appreciation event is going to take place on the sea day after Luderitz. Also, I have been invited to have lunch with Mr. Kruse and his staff along with 60 other guests that have sailed at least 500 days in the Crow’s Nest. It should be an interesting event.
