Another sunny day!

It was a bit foggy when I woke up this morning but it quickly dissipated. The day was filled with sun and most importantly a fresh breeze coming off the ocean to combat the hot temperatures. This evening we went out to one of my favorite restaurants, the Clam Bar, in Somers Point. The food, as usual, was fabulous. My friends Jim, Patty, Emily, Marge and Tom and I had a great evening. Hopefully, tomorrow will be another perfect day. My travel plans are beginning to shape up for the fall, winter and spring.... I set sail on the ms Maasdam on October 22nd for 56 days in the Caribbean, stay in Ft Lauderdale for 2 nights and then set sail on the ms Nieuw Amsterdam for the 14 day Holiday cruise, again in the Caribbean, and finally spend 3 nights in Ft lauderdale before I embark on the 2011 Grand World Voyage on the ms Amsterdam... my second home.

Just curious, when you go back to a ship that you have spent a lot of time on, do you always go for the same cabin?

Same cabin? Pretty much.... That assumes there aren't any problems with it. One cabin I spent a total of a year or so in.....

Yes, it is back to my roots indeed. It will be a little difficult to adjust to a first. Instead of going on tours exploring amazing places I'll just arrive in port and plop myself on a beach... life is hard. I do look forward to spending time at some of my favorite beach spots like the Boatyard in Barbados, Oriet Beach, Aruba, snorkeling in Bonaire, Curacao, etc..... Come along for a a few weeks!
