Day 95 Piraeus, Greece

Today was a fantastic day for a birthday! Ed, Becky & I were the first ones out this morning after we cleared Customs in Piraeus Greece. Our destination was Athens…. We hooked up with a great taxi driver, George, who helped make this a wonderful day. We hit all the highlights… the Acropolis, Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Olympic Stadium, and the Roman Agora…. We even watched the changing of the guard, very cool! The day was topped off with a nice Greek lunch at a local eatery. Tonight there were birthday celebrations in the Crow’s Nest and the Dining Room…. It was a fabulous day!

Did you feel like Phidippides running the first marathon? :)

I'm been impressed at how empty these major tourist sites have been for you all lately... definitely a blessing in disguise!
