Day 161 Durban, South Africa

We were a bit late arriving into Durban this morning. The pilot was probably the start of the problem but immigration was a nightmare. If these people want tourism they need to get their act together. It was pretty overcast and a bit wet sailing in but the day improved immensely as it went on. We took a private tour to the Tala Game Reserve which was about and hour away. The place was very nice and as you can see from the photos, it had some great wildlife. It was a little sad to finish up our last African port. I really love Africa, especially the ability to go out on Safari…. Great trip!

I was going to have to complain about the lack of timing today, until I got to the Rhino pics!
Great pictures as always!

Jeff,

Great photos as usual. We are doing a Safari or Game Drive in the Sabi Sands area of South Africa in early May and your photos have certainly whetted my appetite. Can't wait. Am enjoying your travels as usual.

Hi Jeff,

Have been out of touch lately but busy working on my scrapbook from The Grand. Your pixs are wonderful and looks like they are up to form for your next book. Looking forward to that. Sam & mm

LOVE the closeup on the giraffe - she looks like she is wearing makeup! Great photos (as usual)!
