Day 56 At Sea

What a sizzler! We crossed the Equator today and it felt like it. I’m sure you folks in cold weather aren’t feeling my pain. Anyway, I really enjoyed the day. I think there will be a number of fried people today…. I got a website for voting in the photo contest. Here it is, I believe the photos will be posted by the 15th and voting is from the 15th until the 20th: http://www.msamsterdam.spaces.live.com/ I hope you enjoy them!

Interesting diary and EXCELLENT photographs.
Luckily wife and I have now been put off cruising (can't afford it anyway) such repetition, have to have a very miserable and lonely home life to want to substitute it with such a boring yet
astronomically expensive lifestyle--you must be a guy with $ to burn.

Bon voyage on your continued round of searching for ???

You don't get it! Traveling the world is my life. Sitting on the front porch watching the grass grow just isn't my style. If that is what you like, great. Each of us has something we love. Just because it's not your cup of tea doesn't dimish it for me in any way. I plan on living life to the fullest.....

Not sure how your burning $$$$ Jeff. You quit smoking years ago? How bored are you on board and it really is NOT that expensive in reality if someone cared to look into it. Astronomically expensive is not the right term. Not in the budget for the average Joe. Like Joe the plumber BUT you have probably worked your ass off over the years and now it's time to enjoy those rewards. Who would you leave it to anyway? You still have my card right? LOL.
I sense a bit of jealousy and I know you well enough that a post like that makes your day and helps with the boredom.
Take care bud and yes I got the shot you sent. Snow Sunday so &%@* me. hahahaha.
Take care Jeff.

Whitey - you couldn't have said it better. Perhap the one who needs to get a life is Mr. Bookman. As I've said on an earlier post, if people do not know Jeff, they should not be commenting on his lifestyle.

Personally, I wish these blogs had a way where we could report selected postings as SPAM, just like Mr. Bookman's comments....HE is the one that needs a life!!!!!!

I'd have to think that Mr. Bookman has a touch of Equator Envy....

PS - the color for the day: Burnt Sienna.

Holly what's wrong with "Whitey"?

The good thing is Alan is very content in his marriage which is wonderful. Not be sarcastic at all but honest. It's important if you have a partner be honest and happy. And if you have put off cruising you might as well post on someones blog!

Love your blogs, hope you keep them up for a long time. I hear King Neptune paid your ship a visit, too bad Mr. Bookman wasn't there, he could have been made to walk the plank.

I don't care if Alan is content with his marriage or not. It doesn't give him license to pass judgement on me. Where does he get off saying "very miserable and lonely home life to want to substitute it with such a boring yet astronomically expensive lifestyle--you must be a guy with $ to burn."
I do what I want to do every day. I worked hard and sacrificed alot to get where I am today. Just because Alan doesn't find himself in the same position doesn't give him the right to judge me in any aspect of my life. Stay off my blog if it bothers you.

Alan you have an extremely ignorant view regarding crusing. First of all it is pretty affordable so you don't have to be rich to go on one and you don't get bored. You visit great places, meet fantastic people and get to eat whatever you want, whenever you want. Get back to us when you get off your tuff and take your wife on one.
