We arrived into the Port of Valparaiso, Chile around 7:00 under extremely overcast and foggy conditions. I hoped that the day would brighten eventually. I went ashore with Aart & Yvonne around 9:30 and we toured Valparaiso even taking a couple of the funiculars…. The city is very scenic and the houses built up on the sides of the numerous hills very colorful. I think Valparaiso has to be one of the hilliest cities that I have been to… something like 49 hills…. It was a great day and, as hoped the conditions improved dramatically. I spent the remaining hours of the day sitting in the fabulous sun. Tomorrow, Isla Robinson Cruso….
