Day 127 Isla Robinson Cruso, Chile

My first visit to Isla Robinson Cruso was great! It looked very dicey sailing into the island with gale force winds because this was a tender port. As we got to our anchorage conditions improved a great deal which allow the safe operation of the tenders. The town was small but quite nice. There are only 500-600 people who live here. The people were very warm and friendly. It was a great chance to wander around and take photos… One of their specialties here is spiny lobsters and I can report that a lobster empanada is just fabulous. It was a fantastic day!!!! It was a very special day to visit a place that is seldom visited. Tomorrow is a day at sea and a formal night…
