Day 224 Winging my way home.....

I am currently at 30,000 feet on my US Airways flight to Charlotte.... technology is grand! The disembarkation this morning went very smoothly. It was very sad saying goodbye to friends but, I am confident that I will see them all again very soon..... The flight is currently experiencing heavy turbulence, did I mention how much I hate flying????? Anyway, I hope the flights are on time so I can be home before 1:00 am........

Day 223 At Sea

Here we are at last...the last day at sea. Tomorrow morning we will be docked in Long Beach and I will be scurrying around saying goodbye to friends, going through customs and heading for LAX..... It will be a very, very long day. I will post again once I return home in Virginia. I hope I can find my house.....

Day 222 At Sea

Today was still too cold to sit outside comfortably so.... I had a 11/2 hour hot stone massage first thing and then got pretty much done (99%) on my packing. This evening we had a fantastic meal in the Pinnacle Grill as guests of Aart & Yvonne... It was a great time.... Allan. Sandra, Corrine, Yolanda, Ari and I were there. I will miss them all a great deal. Great finish to a so, so day....

Day 221 Seattle, Washington

It was a fairly laid back day in Seattle. A fair number of our World Voyage companions disembarked today. It was off around 9:00 this morning on a shuttle to the Space Needle for some spectacular views. Then we walked to Pike Place Markets to take in the local color before we walked back. I spent the afternoon relaxing. Tomorrow morning I have a massage at 0800 before I get ready for the last packing episode.... I disembark the ship Thursday in Long Beach and have a flight out of LAX at 1:25 to Charlotte and then on to Norfolk from there. I will get to my house around 1:00 in the morning Friday morning if I am lucky.... I hope at least one of our last two days is sunny and warm.

Day 220 Vancouver, Canada

It was a pretty good day in Vancouver…. I walked along the seawall in the morning to Stanly Park, sometimes in the rain and took some pretty nice scenic photos. In the afternoon, it was off to Gastown and Chinatown. The day was capped off my a lovely visit to the top of the Harbour Centre Tower with its spectacular views. Great day!
