Day 14 At Sea

This morning it looked the day was going to be a lost cause.... gale force winds, lashing rain, all the elements necessary to plunge me into deep depression. I figured that the chance of the day improving was nil since that pesky Tomas was tracking us down again so I went and scheduled a 1 1/2 massage at 2:45 in the afternoon. This would never be done under sunny conditions... violation of the professional tanner's code of conduct. Within 10 minutes of scheduling my Spa appointment, the sun popped out. Oh well, an hour and a half with Marylou and her hands of stone is worth it. Anyway, for the longest time, I was the only one outside sunning themselves... no shock there. Since I have the complete deck chair management kit; bungee cords, clips of various size and design and the Sol-mate towel holder, I am prepared for all conditions, even a full gale force wind. The chair may blow over the side but the towel will not budge.... The day turned out to just grand. It was particularly good since I had ratcheted my expectations down to zero. I always say "set your expectations low enough and you will never be disappointed". Tomorrow, it is San Juan, Puerto Rico. I see a long photo hike in my future....

Glad to see you have figured out how to always be a happy camper... don't expect too much. Hope this leg with all the new faces is going well. You know if you really want to smile, just think of all your friends who are still having to work. Take care and have a diet coke for me.

Greetings Jeff. Great pics as always. You are getting soooo dark. I wonder if it is possible to reach the point of saturation (cannot get any darker)?

We hope you continue to stay one port ahead of Tomas so that you don't have to make too many spa appts.....
