Day 26 Gustavia, St. Barts

Today we arrived at our anchorage outside Gustavia, St. Barts and were ready for tender service by 8:00am. I was on the first tender… there were two of us…. the early bird crowd. As I discussed yesterday, I had decided to go for a long walk and capture some photos along the way. I headed out over the hill on my way to St. Jean, a lovely beach area. So up the hill I went to the traffic circle, hung a left, walked past the airstrip and down to St Jean. From there I walked past the beach and up the hill on the opposite side of the bay and around the corner…. It was a fabulous walk and a lovely beach. The walk back was a bit steamy but I made it. After returning to the ship, it was poolside for me to enjoy the rest of the day in the hot and humid climate…

Are you carrying dog bones with you on these walks now?

You never know what you may encounter.

Jeff

I continue to be amazed at your photographs. I believe you carry a Nikon. Can you give us the model number and any recommended attachments?

Thanks

Bill

Most of the photos are taken with a Nikon D300S with an 18-200 mm lens, the rest with a Nikon P100
