Day 32 Willemstad, Curacao

I had a fairly quiet day in Curacao…. Originally I had planned on seeing some very special friends who live here but the fates determined otherwise. My friends had to travel back to Holland to deal with some very important health matters which occupied my thoughts throughout the day. I am very optimistic that issues will be successfully resolved in the near future. I am planning on seeing my friends somewhere in the world in the coming weeks or months. They are in my thoughts and prayers every day….. As for Curacao, it is as beautiful as ever. I really love it here. I walked around for a few hours, shopped a bit and snapped away with my camera. It was a very laid back day.

Mural on a wall.... I liked my other lizards even better, especially the one with the blue tail.

great picture taking place...hard to stop snapping those colorful pics.. great stuff

we were last there back in May on the Maasdam... first time there--on our honeymoon 38 years ago.. went back the next time for our 25th... wasn't the same.. but now it has bounced back beautifully over the many times we've been back since then and always on our 'places to see again' list...

it's been 10 days since disembarking the Maasdam... counting the days to get back on until Dec 17th for Christmas and New Years again..

as always continue to enjoy your 'adventure'

hope all turns out well with your friends
