Day 37 Sydney, Australia

I just about walked my legs off today…. After yesterday’s long walks today was a bit tiring. The skies brightened a little and I was off this morning. First I went to Mrs Macquaries Point again to see if I could get a better photo than yesterday. Then I decided to go to the Sydney Tower and do the Sky Walk. It is pretty cool. I look at it as Bridge Climb light. The height is much greater but without and physical activity. I finally decided to walk across the bridge to catch some nice photos as I traversed the span. We had a lovely sail away in the Crow’s Nest followed by another great dinner. We left off 100+ guests and took on a few more. I hope the staff retains the World Voyage level of service and quality that has existed to date.

Great to see your Sydney photos. We are cruising Fremantle to Sydney on Rhapsody of the Seas in March and having climbed the Harbour Bridge last year my husband is looking forward to walking around the Tower. We live in Perth so looking forward to your arrival on 19th, it has been 39 here today so nice and warm for you - early 30s next week (better than 20 today in Sydney)....Isn't Australia supposed to be hot.....

Hi Jeff,

You will have sunny, dry weather when you arrive into Melbourne so you will be able to go to the beach. There are good beaches not far from the ship at Albert Park, Middle Park and St. Kilda. They are all within walking distance.

Great places to keep your tan going and clean sea.

Enjoy.

Jennie

Congratulations...again on another fabulous World Adventure blog. As past tablemates on the Grand Asia Australia cruise we are enjoying your cruise through your blog & lens. Sorry we were not on board sooner ... We have sailed the Rotterdam and, like you, enjoyed the ship, staff, and especially the cuisine. I see your tan is its usual golden brown. Keep up the good work. Joanne T. looks wonderful ...we enjoyed her company.
