What a fantastic day…. I wish I could spend a month in Thailand. I do love it. Our trip this morning started with the Wat Tham Suwan Kuha cave temple. It was highlighted by lots of monkeys, a large reclining Buddha and a fair size cavern, complete with bats. The monkeys were amazing. I even caught a shot of a couple of amorous monkeys, photo not included here. We then headed out via boat to Phang Nga Bay. Bill and I stood on top of this crazy boat. It was hot and you had to keep your balance but great views…. The Water Village and James Bond Island along with the amazing limestone formations were magnificent. We spent about 2 ½ hours on the boat and then we were off to lunch at the Phang Nga Bay Resort. The lunch could not have been better. The sweet & sour fish and the shrimp tempura were two on my favorites. That pretty much wrapped up our 8 ½ hour tour with the exception of our standard “shopping opportunity” at a jewelry store…. I wandered off to a fishing village after I returned and then hit the local vendors. That pretty much wrapped up a spectacular day.
