Day 36 Sydney, Australia

We arrived into Sydney around midnight last night. There was a sail in party in the Crow’s Nest and it was well attended. Hopefully, our guest that needed medical attention arrived safely and got the help he needed. I woke this morning to find Sydney in a shroud of fog, clouds and rain….. So much for going to the beach. I decided to just wander around the city, take some photos and hope for clearer weather. I first walked around Circular Quay, where the Rotterdam is docked, out past the Opera house to Mrs. Macquaries Point. It was a nice walk albeit a bit wet at times. The photos weren’t great but it was a nice walk anyway. I trudged through the “Rocks” area checking out a few shops and taking an occasional photo. Finally, I walked into downtown Sydney to the Queen Victoria Building, an amazing piece of architecture and on to Darling Harbor…. Then it was back to Circular Quay to dump photos and blog it…. Tomorrow will be more of the same with a chance of some sun in the afternoon……

I for 1 think your photos are great, grey skies or not.

If I didn't know better I'd say you got a good one of a Michael Phelps wannabe. Wonder if he lost his endorsement with Kelloggs too.

Jeff, your pix made me miss Australia. The photo of the old guy on the dock was captivating. Keep pix coming.
