Day 76 Cochin, India

Today was a fantastic day!!!! I did the “Slow Boat through Kochi’s Harbor” as I explained yesterday and about 1 ½ to 2 hours was great, the rest was a time filler. It was great overall. I then went to the old city with two friends, Don & Jane and got some great photos…. I’ll let them do the talking….

Hi Jeff,

So glad you are able to continue the blog. I appreciate your efforts every day to show us the world.

Spectacular pictures of people today. I'm always curious to know how you get such great expressions from people. Do you ask to take their picture? Do you ever have to pay them to take their picture? Or are you just in the right place at the right time and capture them naturally?

Thanks for enduring the bandwidth issue! I'm very much appreciative on this end!

Cheers,
Megan :)

It sometimes takes great patience to get good people shots. Blind luck and a zoom lens helps to get a good shot occasionally. I do ask permission (for close ups) and I have paid for the opportunity to take photos....

Hi Jeff,

In agreement with everyone here! Great job! The photos of the places and people (especially) are amazing! I like how many of the women there wear such beautiful, bright colors. Thanks again for keeping up your blog.
