Day 22 Moorea, Society Islands

What an amazing day!!! The beauty of Moorea is just phenomenal…. The sail in early this morning was great. The island changes so much as you sail around it and see different perspectives. We tendered ashore and met up with Frank Murphy, our guide, from UC Berkeley. Our morning tour of the island was beautiful and very informative. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better we went out on the water for the afternoon. I just love swimming with the sharks….gets the adrenalin going. The day couldn’t have been better, great weather, beautiful island, great guide and fabulous water….. Tomorrow will be very similar. We will be in Bora Bora for 2 days and tomorrow is a day for being in the water again… I’m hoping for a few more sharks… I’m thinking of changing my nickname from Tan Man to Shark Boy….. The voyage continues to be great!!!

Hi Jeff:
Absolutely amazing underwater shots. The coral was beautiful, but the sea slug grosses me out! These last two days' pix are some of my favorites.
I can't wait for my January cruise, as I will be in Moorea and Pepeete as well.
With you in spirit & jealousy!! Ha ha!

Amazing photos - it's wonderful to be able to share your journey along with you.

Mind if I ask what you're using for taking such great underwater pictures?

I concur, the photos are amazing!! How do you always get such good people shots!? Do you ask permission? Or do you snap the photo on the sly?

I think our family votes for Tan Man... Shark Boy just doesn't have the same ring to it!
