Day18 At Sea

Last night at 10:01 we crossed the Equator and boy can you tell…. The sun is pretty powerful! I am just loving it! (sounds like McDonalds) It was pretty much a carbon copy of yesterday, reading, listening to my iPod and soaking up the rays. The voyage continues to be great…. Nice job HAL! Tomorrow we finally arrive at a port, Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas. I was here in 2008 with my friends Allan, Sandra and Apollonia… we had a great day exploring the island and having a nice lunch. We climbed a pretty good mountain trail that day so tomorrow I won’t have to…. Getting lazy! We will be at anchor tomorrow so we will have to take tenders ashore. I will plan on being on the first one (Surprise!). It should be a nice day!!! I’m still mulling this Antarctica trip…..

Can't compete with your sea days but my last couple on the Zaandam have been smooth sailing with the approriate amount of sunshine. We arrive in San Diego tomorrow and for me it's back to that 4 letter word (WORK)... anyway, I've got a few more hours to enjoy shipboard life and a few more Diet Cokes. Keep enjoying all those "rays". Give my best to the Raymund & Willie.

P.S. how's your supply of Diet Coke holding out or are you already through it?
