Day 87 At Sea

Today was a sizzler…. Great day! We were only about 7 degrees from the Equator and it felt like it. As long as you got wet from time to time it was wonderful. We had a formal night tonight which was a nice time to visit with friends. Dinner was great, as usual. Tomorrow morning we arrive in Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica. We will be playing it by ear. There is nothing at the port. If we can hook a ride to a beach we may do that, otherwise, we will hang out at the pool for the day.

Where is the guy with shorts and white socks gone?

The shorts crowd is still there. I see so many shorts, t-shirts, tanktops, sandals, etc on formal nights it's disgusting....

He Jeff! I did it! I logged onto your Blog! Great pix of you, Cherryl and Larry all decked out in your finery -- assume the other couple your friends from Denmark.Poncho called again last night (4th time) but connect too bad to stay connected. My pitiful tan is gone, it is colder than a well-digger here and grey, gloomy skies! We have even had snow flurries, much to my dislike. We head to VA tomorrow -- don't think we will have time to check by your place, however! Merry Christmas --

Jeff I got a really good idea. Next sea day go to the pool in a tux, and when people ask you why tell them you felt like letting people know how inappropriate it is on formal night to weaer shorts, and tank tops.....TOO SUBTLE ?????? Allan

Hi Jeff:
I know what you mean! On our last cruise on the Amsterdam, some guy kept going into the Lido buffet wearing tank top, swim trunks, and flip flops. Guess who!!! Ha ha!
I think you meet some of the nicest folks on cruises. This group looks like no exception.
