Ft. Lauderdale...

I awoke this morning dreading what I had to go through today.  My friend Vicki picked me up ay 8:00 and we went to breakfast before going to the doctor’s office.  After breakfast it was time to face up to my sins and have my cancers removed.  The procedure wasn’t that long but still wasn’t a lot of fun.  As it turns out I could have waited until May to deal with this which would of made more sense.  Unfortunately, I didn’t find this out until after the surgery.  I’ll have to be very careful now for the next month or so to avoid infection.  Not to be accused of being a fast learner, I went poolside and read from my Kindle for a few hours.  Of course I was completely protected from the sun.  (Never know when the Dermatologist will be reading the blog).  I have already run into some friends from the World Voyage.  I saw Tom Mullen. Bill & Mary Ann Barry and Martha Sullivan…..  By tomorrow the hotel should be packed.

Fort Lauderdale is definitely one of the best places to visit in that region. I heard that there are a lot of interesting sights to see there.

Yup, never know when you derm is reading the blog! I've been away for a while and didn't know about your cancer/surgery! Well take good care, keep infection free, and have a nice reunion seeing your friends aboard the Amsteredam!
